being in a boarding school does have it's disadvantages.
sometimes,we lose contact with some of our old buddies due to the far distance.
it's not like we can go out,take a bus or train and meet somewhere whenever we like.
boarding school is like a prison cell.there are times when you are allowed to meet outside people.
but when the time comes,you have to get back into the cells because visiting hours are over.
get what i mean?
there are other alternatives you could use to reconnect with your old buddies rather than waiting till the holidays such as...
take risks by bringing a phone.
try bringing a laptop.
plan very wisely and try to fly.

but i wouldn't do that.
except for the 1st one though.
it's actually simple.
just write a letter.
it's easy!
just take a sheet of paper.
write anything on it.
put it inside an envelope.
and don't forget the stamp!
i've done it like tons of times!

the 1st one was for my mom.
my civic teacher asked my class to make a card for mother's day.
and when we were finished,she wants us to post it.
everyone didn't actually posted it except me.
ever since then,i started to learn the ways of sending a letter.
that was way back in form 1.
suddenly,i received 2 pamphletes from my close friends in their boarding school.
it was then that i indulged myself in the world of letter writing.
i sent a lot of letters to my buddies.
eventhough i'd get a reply after sending about 4 letters to the person,i didn't mind.
the thought of receiving a letter from a dear friend is enough to make my day.
eventhough it's just a simple note passed up by their friends visiting sdar,it was still flattering.
throughout these 4 years in sdar,i've received about 34 letters,pamphlets and notes.

thank you to all those 10 people who have made my life less miserable in sdar.it doesn't matter if it's a giant card or even a small simple note.i'll always cherish it forever.
